No Picture/Blank Screen: The screen remains black even when the TV is powered on and the external device is connected via HDMI. This could be due to incorrect input selection, a faulty HDMI cable, or an issue with the connected device.
Flickering or Flashing Screen: The picture intermittently flickers or flashes on and off. This could be caused by a loose HDMI connection, a problem with the HDMI cable, or a mismatch between the TV’s refresh rate and the device’s output.
Distorted or Pixelated Image: The picture appears distorted, pixelated, or has poor resolution. This might happen due to a weak signal from the external device, a faulty HDMI cable, or incorrect resolution settings.
No Color or Black and White Image: The screen shows only a black and white image. This could be related to the external device, or an issue with the HDMI cable.
Image Tearing or Jittering: The picture appears to tear or jitter during fast-moving scenes. This could be caused by a mismatch between the TV's refresh rate and the content being displayed, or issues with the HDMI connection.
Image Does Not Fill the Screen/Incorrect Aspect Ratio: The picture may not fill the entire screen or might appear stretched. This issue is typically due to incorrect aspect ratio settings on either the TV or the external device.
Delayed Image Response or Lag: There is a noticeable delay between actions on the external device and what is displayed on the screen. This can be caused by a high input lag setting on the TV, particularly when using gaming devices.
