The default position of the focus ring is in the manual focus
(MF) position. Switch between AF/MF by sliding the focus ring
(A) forwards or backwards focus clutch mechanism.
- When the lens focusing ring is in the MF position, the AF
button on the camera is disabled.
- Check the length indication (B) when using MF. Use it as a
guide for focusing.;
- You can set the amount that the focus moves with the focus
ring using menu settings in compatible digital cameras. Switch
the lens to AF and set the digital camera to MF.
