Troubleshooting - Cannot hear the desired audio. - Blu-Ray Players

Model DMP-BBT01

When connecting an amplifier/receiver using DIGITAL AUDIO OUT or HDMI AV OUT terminal, you cannot switch the audio if “Digital Audio Output” is set to “Bitstream”.  Set “Digital Audio Output” to “PCM”.

Model DMP-BD45

Check the connections and the “Digital Audio Output” settings.

To output audio from a device connected with an HDMI cable, set “HDMI Audio Output” to “On” in the Setup menu

Check the connections and the “Digital Audio Output” settings.

• Check the connections and the “Digital Audio Output” settings.
• To output audio from a device connected with an HDMI cable, set “HDMI Audio Output” to “On” in the Setup menu.

Check the connections and the “Digital Audio Output” settings.

To output audio from a device connected with an HDMI cable, set “HDMI Audio Output” to “On” in the Setup menu

Check the connections and the “Digital Audio Output” settings.

For DMP-BD85 verify when the unit is connected to an amplifier/receiver with the AUDIO OUT terminal to set “Analog Audio Output”.

To output audio from a device connected with an HDMI cable, set “HDMI Audio Output” to “On” in the Setup menu

Model DMP-BD84, DMP-BD90

The audio cannot switch, if “Digital Audio Output” is set to “Bitstream”. Set “Digital Audio Output” to “PCM”.

• Check the connections and the “Digital Audio Output” settings.

In the following cases, HDMI authentication takes place and a black screen is displayed:

• When “24p Output” is set to “Auto”.
• When the display is switched between 2D and 3D images.
• When you quit the 4K playback by displaying another screen, including the HOME menu.

• Check the connections and the “Digital Audio Output” settings.
• When the unit is connected to an amplifier/receiver with the 7.1ch AUDIO OUT terminals, set “Analog Multi Channel”.
• To output audio from a device connected with an HDMI cable, set “Audio Output” to “On” in the Setup menu.
• When connecting this unit to a TV via an HDMI VIDEO OUT and to an amplifier/receiver via an HDMI AUDIO OUT, set “HDMI(VIDEO) Output Mode” to “Auto ( Video Only / Video+Audio )”.

Model DP-UB150, DP-UB154

• Check the connections and the “Digital Audio Output” settings.
• To output audio from a device connected with an HDMI cable, set “Audio Output” to “On” in the Setup menu.
