Audio Products – Bluetooth® Connection Help
Possible Causes & Solutions
1. Check Device & Bluetooth Status
- Ensure the Bluetooth® device is powered onand that Bluetooth® is enabled in its settings.
- If prompted for a passkey, enter "0000" .
2. Connection Limitations & Multipoint Support
- Single Connection Models: Some units can only connect to one Bluetooth® device at a time. If your device won’t pair, confirm that the unit is not already connected to another device. Disconnect the other device and try pairing again.
- Multipoint Connection Models: Some models support Multipoint Bluetooth®, allowing connection to multiple devices at the same time. Refer to your Operating Manual to check if your unit supports this feature.
3. Pairing & Device Registration Issues
- You can register up to 8 devices with this unit.
- If a 9th device is paired, the device that has not been used for the longest time will be replaced.
- If pairing fails or an existing connection is lost, try pairing the device again. Refer to " How to Pair a Bluetooth® Device " in the Operating Manual .
4. Audio Output Settings on the Bluetooth® Device
- For some built-in Bluetooth® devices (e.g., TVs, computers, smart speakers), you may need to manually set the audio output to the connected Bluetooth® device.
- Refer to the operating manual of your Bluetooth® device for details.
5. Device is Out of Range
- Bluetooth® connections typically work within >approx. 10 meters (33 feet).
- If your device is too far from the speaker, move it closer and try again.
Additional Troubleshooting Steps
Forget & Re-Pair the Device
- On your Bluetooth® device, forget the speaker/system from the Bluetooth® settings.
- Restart both the Bluetooth® device and the audio system.
- Try pairing again as a new device <.
Reset the Audio System
- If the issue persists, reset the system to factory settings and attempt pairing again.
- Refer to your Operating Manual for reset instructions.
Firmware Updates
- Check if a firmware update is available for your device.
- Visit the Global Panasonic Support Website for the latest firmware updates.
Tip: If your device still does not connect, ensure no other devices are interfering with the Bluetooth® signal and try moving to a different location.
