The automatic cooking function does not function properly

  1. Check the Power Supply: Ensure the appliance is securely plugged into a functioning power outlet. If the outlet is not working, try plugging the appliance into a different outlet.
  2. Confirm Settings Are Correct: Verify that you have selected the correct automatic cooking function. Some functions require specific settings or food types, so refer to the user manual to confirm settings are properly configured.
  3. Adjust Food Placement: Make sure the food is placed in the correct position inside the appliance. Incorrect placement can affect the sensor’s ability to detect and adjust cooking times.
  4. Inspect for Obstructions: Clean any food debris or moisture from around the sensors or cooking area, as these can interfere with the appliance's ability to sense food correctly.
  5. Check the Door or Lid: Some automatic cooking functions will not work unless the door or lid is properly closed. Ensure the door or lid is securely shut before starting the function.
  6. Reset the Appliance: Unplug the appliance for a few minutes, then plug it back in. This can reset the internal system and may resolve minor malfunctions affecting the automatic function.
  7. Ensure Proper Temperature Settings: For some automatic cooking functions, the appliance may require a specific temperature to be set manually. Refer to the manual for details on temperature requirements.
  8. If the automatic cooking function still does not work, there may be an internal issue with the appliance. Refer to operating instructions for specific warranty information. For service repair contact a Panasonic authorized service centre.
