Possible Causes and Solutions for Playback Issues

Note: Depending on your environment or connected devices, it may take some time for playback to begin

  1. Media Source Issue:

Cause: The disc may be dirty, scratched, or not supported by the device.

Solution: Check if the disc is clean and undamaged. Verify in the Operating Manual that the disc format is supported (e.g., CD-DA, MP3, or WMA).

  2. Connection Problems:

Cause: Improper connections between the receiver and external devices.

Solution: Ensure all connections are secure and correct. Verify that the connected speakers or devices are functioning properly.

  3. Unsupported File Format or Codec:

Cause: The audio file format or codec is not compatible with the receiver.

Solution: Check the Operating Manual to ensure the file format is supported (e.g., MP3, AAC, FLAC, WAV). Re-encode or convert the file to a compatible format.

  4. Playback Device Issue:

Cause: The connected USB device or network source is incompatible or not properly recognized.

Solution: Check the Operating Manual to confirm if the USB device is formatted in a supported file system (e.g., FAT16, FAT32). Ensure the network source is configured and connected correctly.

  5. Bluetooth Connection Problems:

Cause: The paired Bluetooth device is not properly connected.

Solution: Re-pair the Bluetooth device with the receiver. Ensure the Bluetooth device is within range and supports the playback format.

  6. System Error or Software Glitch:

Cause: The receiver may require a reset due to a temporary system error.

Solution: Perform a soft reset by powering the receiver off and on. Check for firmware updates on our Global Website and install if available.

  7. Playback Mode Settings:

Cause: Incorrect playback mode (e.g., random, repeat) or the device is paused.

Solution: Ensure playback is not paused. Check and reset playback mode settings.

  8. Speaker or Volume Configuration:

Cause: Speakers are not properly configured, or the volume is set to mute/low.

Solution: Verify the speaker setup. Increase the volume level.
