No audio output from the secondary speaker - Technics Model SC-CX700

Cause:

  • The power cord of the secondary speaker may not be connected properly.
  • The wireless connection between the primary and secondary speakers might be interrupted.
  • The pairing between the primary and secondary speakers may have been canceled.

Solution:

  1. Check Power Connection:
    • Ensure the power cord of the secondary speaker is securely connected.
  2. Reconnect the Wireless Connection:
    • Turn both speakers off and on to reconnect them wirelessly.
    • Alternatively, manually reconnect the speakers by pressing and holding the P/S CONNECT button on the primary speaker for 2 seconds. If the connection is not re-established, proceed to the next step.
  3. Reset and Reconnect:
    • Unplug both power cords of the speakers.
    • Wait for more than 30 seconds, then reconnect the power cords.
    • Turn the speakers back on.
  4. Check Pairing Status:
    • If the issue persists, the pairing between the primary and secondary speakers may have been canceled.
    • Refer to the Operating Manual (page 88) for detailed steps on how to re-establish the pairing between the speakers.
