How to use the timer feature.

Warning

Your microwave oven is a cooking appliance and you should use as much care as much care as you use with a stove or any other cooking appliance. DO NOT leave the oven unattended while i use.

This feature allows you to program the oven as a kitchen timer. It can also be used to program a standing time after cooking is completed and or to program a delay start.

Caution:

If the oven lamp is lit while using the timer feature with door closed, the oven is incorrectly programed. Stop oven immediately.

This answer applies for most models. Refer to your Operating Instructions for your model.

1. Press once on [Timer], [Timer (more)], [Cooking Timer], [Cooking Timer/Clock], [Timer/Clock] or [Timer Clock] (Less).
   • Please use one of the buttons according to your model.
      
2. Set desired amount of time using number pads, swipe+ or - and rotate dial.
   Use the button according to your model. For more information refer to your Operating Instructions for your model.
   • Maximum programmable time is 99 minutes, 99 seconds.
   • For NN-GT69KS, NN-ST69KS use Time buttons (example [10 min], [1 min], [10 sec.] Pad)
     • Maximum programmable time is 99 minutes, 99 seconds.
     • For NN-SN68KS maximum programmable time is 99 minutes, 50 seconds. 
   • For NN-SB658S use Time Pads (EX. [5 min], [1 min], [10 sec.] Pad)
     • Maximum programmable time is 99 minutes, 50 seconds.
        
3. Press [Start]. Time will count down without oven operating.
   • For models NN-SB428, NN-SB438S, NN-SB448, NN-SB458S, NN-SB55LS, NN-SB658S,  NN-SC678S, NN-SC688S, NN-SC669S, NN-SC73LS, NN-SG448S, NN-SN65KB, NN-SN65KW, NN-SN66KB, NN-NN67KS, NN-SN68KS, NN-ST69KS, NN-ST96JS, NN-ST99JS : Oven will beep 5 times when done.

Caution:

If oven lamp is lit while using the timer feature with door closed, the oven is NOT set properly; Stop Oven immediately and re-read instructions.
