How to use the 5 Axis Hybrid OIS. - HC-X1000

The 5-Axis HYBRID O.I.S + lets you capture crisp clean images, without blurring, in almost every shooting situation.

• Roll Rotation
  • Used for shooting while walking. Blurring in the roll direction from shooting while walking is suppressed to produce truly beautiful images.
• Wrist Movements
  • Across the entire shooting range. Detected blurring caused by vertical or horizontal wrist movements is corrected using a lens in the optical system.
• Arm Movements
  • For zooming. All area of the sensor that are not used for zooming are electronically controlled to compensate for handshake.

To turn OIS on, press the [ OIS ] Button. When OIS is turned on, [ O.I.S ] is displayed. When Hybrid OIS is turned on, [ Hybrid O.I.S ] is displayed. To turn on Hybrid OIS on (While OIS is on):

1. Press [ MENU ].
2. Using the touch screen tap [ RECORD SETUP ].
3. Press [▲ / ▼] to scroll to and select [ HYBRID O.I.S ].
4. Tap [ ON ].
5. Tap [ EXIT ].

Note : When the [ REC FORMAT ] is set to C4K (4096x21600 or 4K (3640x2160) Hybrid O.I.S is set to off.
