This feature allows you to monitor a message from the handset's speaker when the answering system is recording a message.
The default setting is "On".
To turn this feature off
For single line telephones
- Press [ MENU # 3 1 0
].
- Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to to select
"OFF".
- Press [SAVE].
- Proceed with the operation for your unit. press
[OFF] or [EXIT]
For models that have call screening on the base unit as well as
the handset, to turn off call screening on the base (using a
handset):
- Press [ MENU # * 3 1
0 ].
- Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to to select
"OFF".
- Press [ SAVE ].
- Press [OFF]
For 2-line telephones
- For line 1: Press [MENU # 3
1 0 1].
- For line 2: Press [MENU # 3
1 0 2].
- Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select
OFF.
- Press [SAVE].
This feature is not available on all models. Operation may vary
by model. Refer
to feature "Screen Call" in your models Operating Manual for
specific procedure.
