How to program the settings of a phone using the Direct Code Method.

This programming method allows access to the desired programming feature.

To access

1. Press the [ MENU ]soft key.
2. Press the pound sign [ # ].
3. Then press the 3 or 4 digit number code for the function you want to change or set. These codes are found in the Operating manual.
4. Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to (on some phones press the arrow right ► or left ◄) to select the desired settings.
5. Press [ SAVE ].
6. To exit the operation press [ OFF ].

Example. To set an answering machine ring count.

1. Press [MENU # 2 1 1] (answering machine function code).
2. Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select the desired ring count.
3. Press [SAVE].
4. Press [OFF].
