Confirm that the water level is within the suggested rice to water ratio chart below.

Make sure the rice is rinsed well enough.
Check that the bottom of the pan is not dented or uneven.
Make sure that there are no foreign matters between the pan and the heater.
Don't use oil to cook the rice.
Fluff(mixed) the rice after cooking.
Confirm that the pan was is clean and that there is no odors from previous cooking remaining in the pan.
