You can listen to music stored on a Bluetooth® device by connecting it to a Technics Network Audio Player. Follow these general steps for playback. For specific instructions tailored to your model, refer to your unit's Operating Manual.
Steps to Connect and Play Music
- Enter Pairing Mode:
Press the [PAIRING] button on your Technics Network Audio Player. The display will show “Ready” or “Pairing.”
- Select Your Technics Unit on the Bluetooth® Device:
On the Bluetooth® device, navigate to the Bluetooth® settings and select your Technics model (e.g., “Technics-Model-****”). If the device name is set in the Google Home app, the set name will be displayed instead.
- Confirm Connection:
The name of the connected device will appear on the Technics unit's display.
- Start Playback:
Begin playback on the Bluetooth® device, and the sound will play through the Technics unit.
Operations During Playback
- Pause/Play: Press the [PLAY/PAUSE] button to pause and resume playback.
- Skip: Use the skip buttons to move forward or backward between tracks.
- Search: Press and hold the [Rewind] or [Fast Forward] buttons to search within a track.
Notes
- Single Device Connection: This unit can connect to only one Bluetooth® device at a time.
- Auto Reconnection: When “Bluetooth” is selected as the input source, the unit will automatically try to connect to the last connected device. “Linking” will appear on the display during this process.
- Remote/Touch Controls:
- To use the unit’s remote control or touch switches with the Bluetooth® device, the device must support AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile).
- Some controls may not work depending on the Bluetooth® device's status.
- Audio-Video Sync: When watching video content, there may be a delay between audio and video output.
