The temperature sensor is triggered when the set temperature
range is exceeded.
You can specify how the temperature units (Celsius or
Fahrenheit) are displayed on the monitor unit and the alert
range.
For the alert range, specify an upper and lower limit. If the
temperature of the room where the camera unit is installed goes
outside of these limits, the monitor unit will notify you by
lighting the smart LED indicator, playing a chime, etc.
Configuring the temperature units
- Press the Power button located on the top of the monitor unit for about
2 seconds, to turn the unit on.
- Press [ MENU ].
- Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select "Sensor
Settings".
- Press [ OK ].
- Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select
"Temperature Sensor".
- Press [ OK ].
- Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select "Units".
- Press [ OK ].
- Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select the
desired setting.
- Press [ OK ].
- Press [ MENU ]
repeatedly to exit.
Configuring the alert range
- Press the Power button located on the top of the monitor unit for about
2 seconds, to turn the unit on.
- Press [ MENU ].
- Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select "Sensor
Settings".
- Press [ OK ].
- Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select
"Temperature Sensor".
- Press [ OK ].
- Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select "Alert
Range".
- Press [ OK ].
- Press the arrow left ◄ or right ► button to select "Lower
Limit"
- Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select the
desired temperature.
- Press the arrow left ◄ or right ► button to select "Upper
Limit"
- Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select the desired
temperature.
- Press [ OK ].
- Press [ MENU ]
repeatedly to exit.
Note:
- The temperature sensor may not detect temperature
accurately if the camera unit is exposed to warm or cool
breezes from heating/cooling systems.
- If a power failure occurs or the power is disconnected, the
temperature will not be accurate for up to an hour.
