How to change a Telephone handset name.

The default handset name is “ Handset 1 ” to “ Handset 6 ” . You can customize the name of each handset (“Bob”, “Kitchen”, etc.). This is useful when you make intercom calls between handsets.

Programming procedure for telephones vary, however there are two methods of programming that are commonly used.

Method 1

1. Press [ MENU # 1 0 4].
2. Enter the desired name (10 characters max.).
3. Press [ SAVE ].
4. Press [ OFF ].

Method 2

1. Press [ MENU # 1 0 4 ].
2. Enter the desired name (10 characters max.).
3. Press [ SAVE ].
4. Press the arrow up ▲ or down ▼ button to select the desired setting.
5. Press [ SELECT ] 2 times.
6. Press [ OFF ].
